Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Can cordless use and automatic mixing coexist?
The exact 3682L supplies both in its cleaning route. Hose reach remains unconfirmed.
Explore this need in the finder →Can automatic mixing meet a 7.2-pound dry limit?
The US page lists 7.2 pounds and SmartMix.
Explore this need in the finder →Does nominal clean capacity exceed thirty-three ounces?
33.8 ounces is documented; the 27-ounce dirty tank is separate.
Explore this need in the finder →The Little Green Cordless SmartMix 3682L combines unplugged spot cleaning with automatic formula mixing. Its useful role is reaching suitable upholstery, carpet spots and car interiors without an operating cord, while switching between a cleaning mixture and water-only rinse. It remains a manually guided hand-tool cleaner with a battery to charge and a recovery tank to empty.
SmartMix changes the solution routine
The tank system automatically proportions formula and water. Fill its sections as instructed and use compatible portable-machine formula. Do not fill it as though it were the premix tank on the ordinary Cordless 3682. A shared family number is not proof that the preparation steps or recovery volumes are identical.
The water-only Rinse setting lets you change the fluid being applied without preparing another mixture. That can be useful after an instructed cleaning pass, but a rinse still adds moisture to the material. Check the upholstery or rug care label, test a hidden area and work in small sections. Neither automatic mixing nor water-only operation makes a water-sensitive fabric suitable for extraction.
Read the runtime claims by mode
The page advertises up to thirty-five minutes in Eco mode. Its FAQ separately describes approximately twenty minutes using a BatteryBoost+ pattern that assumes surface contact for 53 percent of the time. Those statements should not be collapsed into one guaranteed duration for a car or sofa. The tool, contact pattern and work you do affect how long a charge lasts.
BISSELL identifies a 25-volt lithium-ion battery and says a full charge typically takes about 4.5 hours. It also says the machine must be unplugged to operate. If the battery empties halfway through a larger job, connecting the charger does not provide an immediate corded continuation. Charge before starting and plan the route around the most important areas first.
Capacity is sized for localized work
The exact US table lists 33.8 ounces for the clean tank and 27 ounces for the dirty tank. The latter differs from the current ordinary 3682 page, which lists a larger recovery volume. Use the 3682L's own maximum line rather than treating those related machines as interchangeable. An existing wet spill and foam can use recovery space as well as the cleaning mixture you apply.
The published dry machine weight is 7.2 pounds. Solution and dirty liquid add to the load. For a staircase, choose a secure level position within the actual hose's reach and move the body deliberately as needed. The current exact table does not clearly state hose length, so confirm it before relying on a particular landing-to-step distance.
Keep the job a hand-tool job
A four-inch Tough Stain Tool is explicitly listed. This is a cleaner for targeted suitable soft surfaces, not a push-style upright for washing entire rooms. You decide where to apply mixture, scrub and extract. Releasing the spray while making recovery passes is different from continuing to add liquid until a stain disappears.
The product FAQ expressly says this machine is not a substitute for a dry vacuum. Remove loose dry debris using an appropriate cleaner first. If a supplied dry-vacuum attachment is an essential part of a car-detailing kit, compare the corded Auto Pro 3909L and its separate dry-tool arrangement. Do not borrow that capability from another Little Green name.
Choose convenience you can maintain
After cleaning, empty and rinse the recovery assembly, clear the tool and follow the exact guide for drying and storage. The water-only rinse selection does not by itself prove a dedicated hose-flush attachment is included. Confirm any essential accessory against the 3682L carton, particularly when an offer uses a family photograph.
Choose this version when cordless access and automatic mixing will both be used regularly. Choose the ordinary 3682 when its documented hose length and HydroRinse package fit better, or the corded Max Pet SmartMix when long sessions near a socket make charging unnecessary. The right choice follows the job location, expected session length and actual supplied equipment.
