Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Does it support push-style room cleaning?
Yes, an upright floor head is documented.
Explore this need in the finder →Can I avoid a manual ordinary floor-wash trigger?
The documented forward-wash/backward-extract routine meets that need.
Explore this need in the finder →Can it meet an exact refill-capacity requirement?
The upright format is confirmed, but the current page does not establish a numerical clean-tank volume.
Explore this need in the finder →The Hoover AllOut Plus FH57000 focuses on upright carpet washing with automatic forward-wash/backward-extraction movement. Its StainShot tank and VacTrap debris system are the features to evaluate for that floor routine. The current Plus package does not confirm the integrated upholstery hose advertised on the separate AllOut Lux.
Choose it for the documented floor task
The reviewed US page identifies FH57000 and describes room-scale cleaning on carpet. It lists trial Pro Ultimate and StainShot solutions in the package. That is a different supplied arrangement from FH58000 Lux, which explicitly includes an integrated hose and above-floor tools. A shared AllOut name is not evidence that the Plus includes every Lux capability.
If you need the same purchase to clean stairs, sofa arms or car seats, require an explicitly documented hose and tool package. We leave an upholstery route unconfirmed for the Plus rather than borrowing one from an adjacent product. It can still be a relevant floor-cleaning choice when that is the work you intend to do.
The movement controls solution application
Hoover documents forward movement for washing and backward movement for extraction. That reduces one part of the coordination involved in washing a carpet. It does not decide how many wet passes a material should receive or remove the need to prepare the room and manage clean and recovered water.
The dry-only mode is particularly useful to understand. The page says it extracts on both push and pull without another ordinary wash pass. Use the actual instructions to learn the control and sequence before tackling a room. Additional extraction can be sensible, while repeated wetting is not automatically better cleaning.
A separate targeted-solution system
StainShot provides a concentrated treatment boost for difficult spots. The associated comparative claim depends on specified Hoover solutions and test conditions. We do not reproduce it as a guaranteed real-world outcome. Stain chemistry, age, the carpet construction and prior cleaning products can change what is possible.
Think about the ownership routine of another solution compartment. Keep the compatible formulas available, use the instructed amounts and clean the system as directed. A separate tank adds useful flexibility only when you will use it properly. It is not permission to combine detergents or add a homemade chemical mixture.
VacTrap needs attention after the job
The manufacturer describes VacTrap as capturing hair and debris before it interferes with cleaning. That can be a relevant design feature for a household dealing with embedded hair. It does not turn a carpet washer into an ordinary dry vacuum or remove the need to inspect the recovery path.
Plan to empty recovered water, remove collected debris and allow the appropriate parts to dry before storage. A dirty-water compartment is a waste-handling task even when solution application is automatic. Convenient washing controls and convenient cleanup are separate questions.
Check the specifications that are still missing
The reviewed current page provides the main operating features but does not publish a complete numerical tank, cord and body-size table. Our finder therefore does not use guessed values to satisfy an essential minimum tank capacity or exact storage constraint. Ask for FH57000-specific measurements if one of those limits determines your purchase.
Some feature text on the Plus page uses the word Lux while describing automatic movement. We rely on the FH57000 identity, repeated Plus description and its actual package, without transferring the Lux hose. This is precisely why the model number is more useful than the broadest marketing paragraph.
Its practical shortlist position
Consider the Plus when a floor-focused automatic washer with targeted solution treatment fits your routine. Move toward the Lux or an appropriate SmartWash package when included above-floor cleaning is essential. Move toward a portable CleanSlate when the main job is a small spill rather than a room. We have not tested stain removal, moisture extraction or drying; these are documented fit distinctions, not performance rankings.
