The Hoover Spotless Mini Pet FH12351 is a separate pet-focused portable package, rather than a color choice for the ordinary FH12300 Mini. Its documented pet tool and hose-rinse port are useful to compare for isolated accidents. The current Pet page leaves important numerical details unstated, so the ordinary Mini's tank and cord figures are not automatically transferred here.

What the Pet package changes

The current US page identifies FH12351 and describes an all-purpose tool for ordinary stains, a dedicated Pet Mess Tool and a Tight Spot tool feature. Reserving a tool for pet accidents can make sense when the same machine also cleans everyday spills. That is a supplied-equipment distinction, without proving that the machine has different suction or a special ability to reverse every odor.

Check the actual seller's carton contents. Tool names in a feature panel and photos of compatible parts can be less precise than a complete package list. The page establishes the pet-focused arrangement, but we do not invent additional powered tools or a particular bundle size of solution.

Keep the job localized

FH12351 is described for carpets, rugs, upholstery, stairs and car interiors. Those are hand-tool tasks: position the base, apply the permitted cleaning routine and make extraction passes across the spot. It is a different proposition from pushing an upright floor head across a room. Choose the category around the work you repeat most often.

A pet accident does not remove the need to check the material. Furniture care labels, rug backing and the surface underneath can all affect whether wet cleaning is appropriate. Follow the machine and formula instructions and use a suitable inconspicuous check as directed. Do not apply extra moisture merely because a stain has a strong odor.

Compact is a description, not a cupboard measurement

The product page emphasizes small storage and easy carrying. It does not publish a complete reliable numerical size, weight, cord and tank table for FH12351 in the reviewed reference. Those figures stay unconfirmed in our finder. They cannot be supplied by assuming this kit matches FH12300 in every physical respect.

If you need a specific shelf opening, a maximum carrying weight or enough cord for a car, obtain FH12351-specific confirmation before ordering. This is particularly important when comparing similarly named kits: an accessory difference is established, while an identical machine measurement still needs its own bridge.

Rinsing the hose is part of finishing the task

The self-cleaning hose port is explicitly documented. It helps flush the route that carries recovered liquid after a messy job. It does not empty the tank, clean every tool or make it appropriate to store collected waste in the machine. Follow the full post-cleaning instructions and allow the relevant parts to dry.

Think about where that cleanup will happen. A convenient storage location is less useful if reaching a sink with the machine and dirty water is awkward. A compact cleaner can still require several steps after a small accident. Keeping a separate pet tool is helpful organization, not a substitute for cleaning it.

Pet wording does not guarantee a result

Hoover's pet formula language concerns use of the compatible solution for pet stains and odors. It does not establish disinfection, sterilization or a guaranteed result on an old contaminated cushion. Repeated wetting can be unsuitable for some materials, and a persistent problem may extend beyond the visible surface. We do not claim a tested outcome here.

Choose FH12351 when a pet-focused tool package and portable hose cleaning are central, and its missing measurements can be confirmed if needed. Compare the ordinary Mini when its documented 16 ounce clean tank and 12 foot cord are enough and a dedicated pet tool is unnecessary. Compare CleanSlate XL for a documented larger portable tank, or an upright for recurring room work. We have not tested suction, stain removal or drying.
