Control and tank choices
Pro Deep forward-and-back or automatic washing?
A carpet washer that moves forward and backward can still require you to control the spray. Compare the sequence you will repeat, then check the supplied tools and tank size.
Pro Deep: spray-button washing in both directions
The Rug Doctor Pro Deep 90028 permits forward and backward wet passes while you hold the solution button. Release it for extraction. Its 1.5-gallon clean-water tank is separate from the equally sized recovery tank, and its motorized upholstery attachment is sold separately.
It suits a room-cleaning plan where you want direct dispensing control without restricting washing to a backward stroke. Check the material first and follow the stricter wet-pass limits for looped carpet.
Mighty Pro: a bigger batch with backward washing
The Mighty Pro X3 has a three-gallon lower solution tank. Its backward spray-button routine and forward repositioning are a different working pattern from Pro Deep. Choose the larger batch because it fits the session you plan, rather than assuming the two machines share the same operating sequence.
Both standard Mighty Pro formula packages also sell the upholstery tool separately. A pet bottle in the box does not add a supplied hand-tool route.
SmartWash: movement decides the ordinary wash stage
The Hoover SmartWash FH52000V uses ordinary forward movement for washing and backward movement for extraction. That can be useful when deciding when to hold a spray control is the interruption you want to remove.
Pro Deep's back-and-forth capability should not be mistaken for this automatic switching. Decide whether you prefer to control spray directly or follow the machine's directional routine.
TruDeep: smaller batch, supplied upholstery equipment
The TruDeep 90115 is another relevant choice when suitable furniture joins the room-carpet task. It supplies a Pet Upholstery Tool and a three-quarter-gallon clean-water tank, with backward button-controlled floor washing.
Start with your recurring job: room carpet only, room plus furniture, or mostly small hand-tool spots. Then choose the tank and control routine you can manage comfortably, including filling, recovery disposal and drying the tanks after use.
