Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Can the floor head combine formula and steam?
SteamWash Max documents water, formula and steam at the carpet head; the hose does not carry steam.
Explore this need in the finder →Does it provide eight feet of hose and twenty-five feet of cord?
The exact US table lists both lengths.
Explore this need in the finder →Can an eleven-inch floor path meet 22.5 dry pounds?
The specification lists eleven inches and 22.5 pounds.
Explore this need in the finder →The Revolution HydroSteam 3432 is an upright carpet washer with a real steam-assisted floor method and a separate hose-cleaning route. It lists an eleven-inch floor path, eight-foot hose and 22.5-pound dry machine. Its central buying distinction is where the steam goes: to the carpet floor head, not through the upholstery hose.
Choose the floor mode for the actual mess
SteamWash Max Clean combines steam, water and formula while washing carpet. Steam Pretreat is a different stage: the brush and suction motor remain off while steam is applied before washing. The guide specifically excludes blood and urine from steam pretreatment. Pet branding therefore does not make every pet accident a suitable steam-pretreat job.
Quick Dry is separately named, with conditional drying claims. The linked guide's wording around that mode is not clear enough to treat it as a guaranteed steam-free method. If avoiding heat is essential for the material, resolve the appropriate method before use rather than choosing a mode from its name. Check the carpet maker's care instructions and test where the guide requires.
The hose is a different fluid path
The manual expressly says only water and formula flow through the hose and tool. That makes the package useful for carpet SteamWash and separate compatible furniture extraction, but not for steam on a sofa. A selected floor mode cannot transfer steam capability to an attachment that has no steam path.
This difference matters when comparing the Little Green HydroSteam Exclusive 3605F. That portable supplies a steam-capable hand-tool arrangement and a multi-surface attachment. The upright 3432 instead gives you broad push-style room coverage. Choose the tool path that reaches the required material, rather than treating all HydroSteam products as the same type of cleaner.
Check the tool carton carefully
The 3432's description and specification identify a two-in-one Pet Upholstery Tool and six-inch stain tool. Its current In the Box section instead labels a three-in-one stair tool alongside the six-inch tool. Confirm the actual carton if the two-in-one pet attachment is decisive. A named feature elsewhere on the page should not obscure a conflicting package list.
The 34249 exclusive bundle also deserves its own carton comparison. A similar body and linked family manual do not establish an identical accessory assortment. For a buyer mostly concerned with stair edges or collecting furniture hair, the exact hand tools can matter more than the common floor-cleaning mechanism.
Weight and reach belong in the room plan
The 22.5-pound specification is dry machine weight. Added solution and recovered waste increase the load. Think about carrying between floors and handling the tanks as well as pushing the cleaner across carpet. The current table gives a one-gallon dirty-tank capacity, but does not clearly identify clean-tank capacity; do not treat the recovery figure as a clean-water specification.
The eight-foot hose and twenty-five-foot cord offer useful placement flexibility. For hose work, keep the upright on a stable level surface and follow the guide's brush and placement instructions. A hose long enough to reach stairs does not make balancing the whole machine on a stair safe. Reposition it deliberately before pulling the attachment beyond comfortable reach.
Steam does not remove the care routine
Vacuum loose debris before washing and use formula intended for the upright according to the guide. Afterward, empty the recovery tank, remove collected hair and debris from accessible cleaning parts and follow the drying instructions before storage. Steam at the floor head does not sterilize every internal part or make dirty-water storage acceptable.
Choose the 3432 for carpet SteamWash, an eleven-inch path and a separately useful non-steam hose. The 4123 HydroSteam offers another current upright configuration with different reach, brush arrangement and tools. Choose the portable 3605F if the required steam work is through a hand tool, or an ordinary TurboClean Pet XL if conventional extraction covers the job and a lighter dry machine is the priority.
Key details at a glance
| Machine format | Upright carpet washer; exact US 3432 |
|---|---|
| Confirmed hose length | 8 ft |
| Confirmed cord length | 25 ft |
| Stated dry weight or conservative upper bound | 22.5 lb |
| Operating routine | Exact US 3432: eight-foot hose, twenty-five-foot cord, eleven-inch path and 22.5-pound dry weight. The one-gallon dirty figure is not a clean-tank specification. Feature and table references to a two-in-one pet tool conflict with the box’s three-in-one stair tool; the dedicated pet-tool condition stays unknown. Quick Dry steam wording remains unresolved. |
| After-cleaning care | Follow the exact material, mode and tool instructions. Rinsing a hose does not replace emptying and drying the recovery assembly. |
| Floor-head cleaning path | 11 in |
| Battery-powered operation | No |
Use the exact model’s instructions for operating limits, supplied equipment and version differences.
