Which portable cleaner fits pet messes?
For a portable cleaner used around pets, compare the normal accident-cleaning routine before choosing on a pet label. CleanSlate XL, Little Green 1400B and HydroSteam 3618 offer three relevant approaches.
CleanSlate XL: more clean solution and a separate pet tool
The FH15000V package explicitly includes a Pet Tool alongside its wide and tight-spot tools, a rinse route, 96 ounce clean tank, 22 foot cord and 5 foot hose. Those features can suit a longer sequence of localized stains or a job where base placement needs more reach.
Its 11 lb listed dry weight increases with water. It remains a hand-tool machine rather than an upright room washer. Choose it for the documented capacity and tools, without treating an OXY claim as a guarantee that every old odor disappears.
Little Green 1400B: a plain spray-and-extract routine
The 1400B supplies a 3 inch stain tool, crevice tool and HydroRinse route with a 48 ounce clean tank. Its stated dry weight is 9.65 lb. It is a useful direction when ordinary localized water/formula extraction is the job and a narrower tool suits the area.
The hose descriptions disagree at 4 and 4.5 feet, so our essential reach requirement uses 4 feet. Hot tap water instructions do not give it a steam mode. Check the exact package rather than treating all Little Green models as equivalent.
HydroSteam 3618: choose the mode for the stain
The 3618 adds separate SteamWash, Steam and Wash arrangements, with a 64 ounce clean tank and 13 lb dry weight. Its manual distinguishes oily messes and everyday/pet stains, so steam should not be assumed preferable for every accident.
The supplied 5 inch and Multi-Surface tools enable particular supported plans. The steam-only tile/grout arrangement cannot borrow formula spray from another mode. Additional versatility comes with startup and material instructions to learn.
What all three still require
Confirm fabric or rug compatibility, follow the exact formula directions, extract as instructed and clean the recovery path afterward. None of these specifications establishes a tested stain-removal winner or disinfection. If the real workload is entire carpeted rooms, compare an upright with an included hose instead.
